My 6th grade website

Facebook can be a time-waster, full of pointless quizzes and people you wish you forgot. But it can also help you get back in touch with people you didn’t mean to lose contact with.

Mr. Zartman was my 6th grade English teacher, and he found an old website I made in his class while cleaning his house. Curiosity got the best of him and he found me on Facebook. He sent me this scan of my website I made in his class, and it’s full of some choice cuts like:

“Dinosaurs – they’re everywhere! And now they’re on the WEB!”
“Are you a fan of MTV? If you are, then check out their awesome WEB page!”
“Tip of the Week: Believe in yourself, and you can achieve anything.”

Linking to other web pages was the “in” thing, as was using cool font formatting. And for some reason I liked to type WEB in all caps.

It’s actually really impressive that I did something like this when I was so young. I must have been 12 or 13. Much respect to Mr. Zartman, who was way ahead of his time in the tech department.
